Biovita tips for snowshoe hiking in Sexten

Snowshoe hiking from Fischleintal to the Rotwand:

This fairly easy snowshoe hike takes you from the beautiful Fischleintal via trail no. 153 up the Sexten Rotwand. On the Rotwand there are plenty of traditional resting places for you to fuel up. On the return leg you can even use the Rotwand aerial tramway.

Elevation: approx. 500 m
Duration: approx. 2 - 3 hours
Difficulty: easy


Snowshoe hiking from Kreuzbergpass to Pfandleck:

This snowshoe hike takes you from Kreuzbergpass via trail no. 13 to Nemes Alm, and from there onward to Pfandleck. The Kreuzbergpass is easy to reach from Moos using public transport. The bus stop is located approx. 100 m from the Biovita Hotel Alpi.

Elevation: approx. 400 m
Duration: approx. 4.5 - 5 hours

Snowshoe hiking from Fischleintal to ‘Drei Zinnen’:

This challenging snowshoe hike will take you from the carpark in Fischleinboden, through the unique Fischleintal to the Talschluss Hut. Then you follow trail no. 102 to the impressive Drei Zinnen. The hike takes you through beautiful snowy forests and valleys in the Sexten mountains.

Elevation: approx. 1000 m
Duration: approx. 5.5 – 6.5 hours
